The first, crucial link of your audio/video system
The mains fuse in your consumer box is decisive for the performance of your audio/video set. This fuse has, in the first place, to carry all current that is withdrawn from the mains. Relatively big enhancements can be achieved with little effort by replacing the mains fuse with a HiFi-Tuning fuse which is specifically designed for audio/video applications.
This fuse by the German manufacturer HiFi-Tuning has pure copper silver plated caps, which in addition have a golden finish. The melting wire is a straight one made of pure silver.
This fuse is a great upgrade for the standard fuse of our Cylindric Fuse Cartridge, and the copper and gold plated versions from the AHP Klangmodul. According to some people, it is even better than the – much more expensive – De Groef Audio ‘Flat wire fuse’!
The audible result of this upgrade is a bass response that’s more taut and goes deeper, a better reproduction of details, and all together a more natural, richer and cleaner sound that’s reproduced with the right timbre.
